I’ll always remember that Monday. It all began when I was waked up by the doorbell. I opened the door and I found an anonymous letter. It was kind of unusual that somebody had written me a letter. I was in shock because it said that I had to be at school at six o’clock in the afternoon.
A short while later, I arrived at school in the morning, punctual as always. I felt terribly sad because my friends were avoiding me all the time and I had to have lunch alone. When I arrived at home, I realised that my mother wasn’t there. Soon after that, I phoned her, but she didn’t pick up the phone. Gradually, I connected that fact with the letter I received. In the end, I ran to school while my heart was beating fast. Suddenly lights were turned on and a crowd was singing “Happy Birthday”.
